Thank you for your incredible investment in the lives of our city's stray, abused, neglected, and abandoned animals. Because of your generosity, CARE STL has been able to save 9,153 animals since we were founded in 2018. As you know, all animals deserve a second chance in life. They deserve an environment suitable to them and a happy home. According to our recent report, about 70% of animals entering our shelter are sick, abused, injured, and neglected. This is a complex issue that requires resources and dedicated individuals who are passionate about creating a solution. Your passion & support helps us provide every animal access to medical care, clean shelter, food, enrichment, and love. To achieve this, we are fundraising $40,000 on Giving Tuesday to build up our depleted Emergency Medical Fund as more injured, sick animals come in daily, and most of them are always transported to the emergency hospital immediately. As an open-admission City shelter, we get ZERO funding for our medical cases; this year, they have been more frequent and extreme than ever before.
